Position: Engineer
- Provide technical and engineering support to mine operations and environmental departments in areas of monitoring, sampling, surveying, short and long-term mine planning, projects, and data collection to meet current and future mining needs and ensure environmental stewardship and compliance.
- Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position satisfactorily. Must possess excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills with ability to reason through complex issues and contribute significantly to efficient and effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from 4-year college or university plus one year of related experience in surface mining/environmental areas preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
